Buckden Towers -
formerly known as Buckden Palace, Buckden Towers has been used as a Christian Retreat
and Conference Centre run by the Claretian Missionaries, together with the Catholic
Parish Church of St. Hugh of Lincoln, which stands on the site of the great chamber
of the medieval palace.
Buckden Marina - Nestled
in 92 acres of unspoilt tranquil Cambridgeshire countryside with the River Great
Ouse on its eastern boundary, this marina is a delightful place to moor your narrowboat
or cruiser.
Grafham Water - Set in 2,400 acres of beautiful countryside,
Grafham Water Park offers a wide range of attractions for visitors of all ages.
Paxton Pits Nature Reserve
- 192 acres of lakes, meadow, grassland, scrub and woodland next to the river Great
Ouse where you can enjoy a wealth of wildlife all year round.
Cambridge-
home of the world famous University, carols in King's College Chapel and punting
on the river Cam. Cambridge is a compact cosmopolitan city with outstanding architecture
old and new.
Cromwell Museum - The purpose of the Cromwell Museum is to interpret the
life and legacy of Oliver Cromwell through portraits, documents and objects associated
with him.
Norris Museum - the
Norris Museum collects and displays the history of Huntingdonshire from earliest
times to the present day.
